Cotton University continues to take the social responsibility of uplifting the society by spreading quality education across the length and breadth ofthe society. During the past 120 years Cotton University, earlier Cotton College, has produced numerous renowned scholars, many of whom are regarded as the architects of the modern Assamese society.

Higher Secondary has been an integral parts in the 120 years glorious past of Cotton University, erstwhile Cotton College. The institution continues to be a dream destination for budding students across the state of Assam. Being a premier educational institution of the state Cotton University regards mentoring of HS courses among its essential duties.

Streams

The institution offers HS courses in two streams, namely Science and Arts. Currently, there are four science sections with an intake capacity of 320 students and one arts section with intake capacity of 125 students.

Admission

Aspiring students may apply for admission for the session 2022-2023 through online application. Admission is given purely on merit and is subject to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) regulations.  More information regarding admission and the courses may be obtained in the Prospectus.
